Bob Eaton accepts his trophy from Ken Evans
The Monday evening events on the Foundation Lake are again proving to be very popular. This series of events run through the summer months. Last year was a close race right up to the last match with the possibility of any of the top three becoming the overall winner.
Only two points separated the top three anglers, but it was ever-consistent Bob Eaton, who many say ‘cannot be beaten’, that slid into first position on the final event. Bob also won the event in 2008 and proudly accepted the trophy from Summer Match Secretary Ken Evans.

This season’s events are well under way. On the opening event Keith Hovis Hudson weighed in 106lbs in the three-hour event to only be fourth in his section, needless to say he was gutted.
The draw for these events is 4:45pm at the Foundation Lake, fish 6-9pm.
