I hope that everyone has a great time at this special event. Most of us will be representing our sponsors and that means we are all ambassadors for our respective companies. I appreciate that everyone wants to win, but please understand this is a rare opportunity for fellow anglers and potential customers to get close to you, and talk to you. In addition we are all supporting the A.C.A., please remember a condition of entry is that you must be a paid up member. If you have not already renewed you can do so on the day.
FUND RAISING
Apart from very important publicity for your sponsor and the A.C.A. it is paramount that we raise as much money as possible for the A.C.A.
This year your respective company has donated at least £1500 in tackle prizes that are featured in a word search competition in Angling Times. These prizes will all go to everyone that has taken part in the word search.
We will have a raffle on the day, and I ask that everyone brings something for the raffle, if you deal with a friendly retailer I am certain he will donate a prize If not bring along something yourself, it is all for a very good cause.
POOLS ON THE DAY
At the moment we have 14 teams of six competing in this prestigious event. We will have a £60 optional team pool depending on numbers we will pay out first three. We will also have a £20 pool that will be paid out on sections. The A.C.A. will again be providing some super trophies. And finally, please try to bring a raffle prize.
Tight Lines,
Roy
