Join the World's Biggest Coffee Morning

Sue and Roy Marlow invite you to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, by supporting their event at the Glebe on Saturday 30th September 2006, 11am - 3pm. Coffee, tea, biscuits and cakes will be served in the marquee and you will be able to wander around the 36 acres of lakes and wetland habitats and see the spectacular range of wildlife that inhabits the fishery.

Fishing Challenge

If you have never caught a fish then this is your big chance. Fishery owner Roy Marlow, who is an ex-England international and a fully qualified angling coach, will be running 15 minute long one-to-one coaching sessions. He guarantees that every participant will catch at least one fish during their 15 minute session. If you do not catch any fish in your allocated session then Roy will donate £5 to Macmillan Cancer Support. However, you will be asked to donate £2 for every fish you do catch! There is no need to register - just turn up and join in the fun. Anyone can take part - Roy will provide fishing tackle and you do not need to have a rod licence.
