Premier Fisheries/Pure Fishing - qualifying round July 22nd 2007

The second of our Premier Fisheries/Pure Fishing qualifying rounds attracted an almost sell out attendance of 62 anglers, all keen to get a chance to fish the final in September. The match was fished on pools 1, 4, 5, 6 & 7, with the lakes split into seven sections. The five highest weighing section winners would go through as finalists.

The lakes were a little out of sorts due to some very heavy rain prior to the event, this made for an extremely close battle for the top places and a hundred pounds was still needed to qualify for the final. As usual there was really no fixed method on any of the lakes and anglers that fished well and to their strengths came out on top. The section results were as follows:
